The Mullins Family

It has been said to me on several occasions that our family is one of a kind. Now besides the odd sense of humor we have or Kris's ability to sound like an elephant when he blows his nose. I guess in some way we are special. In times like these when the word "family" is just associated with someone you are related to rather than someone you actually spend time with. Now spending time together is not something we lack in. But the real special part I think most people are amazed about is how we spend time together. From the Beginning and HOPEFULLY to the end; our time together has been and will be outdoors!

When it was suggested to me that we should document our adventures I thought the process would be easy. Boy was I wrong! My first thought was to start from the beginning to really get a since of where our Family comes from, and then I thought well there is so much going on now that is too exciting to keep hidden. So I decided to mix it up-- Past with the Present! So as you now notice this is not going to be in chronological order, but I hope you will enjoy it still the same.

As I think back on my childhood. I can't remember a Saturday when our family WASN'T outdoors. It was expected! No matter what the season was you knew what would happen on Saturdays. If it was Winter; we were ice fishing. If it was summer; we were camping. If it was Spring; we were hiking with a picnic lunch of course. Fall; we were loaded up in the back of the truck while Dad went hunting. (Just a little hint of what our childhood was like)

Let me introduce you to the "Mullins Clan" (Is what we usually call ourselves) Yes, we are Scottish hence the word "clan". Now there is seven of us. Larry (Dad), Bonnie (Mom), Sam, Kris, Kalab, Rachel, and Rebecca. Now do you notice a lot of doubles in the list?? Double K and double R?? Well there is a reason for that. See Bonnie has the ability to make babies in doubles. Kris and Kalab are twins. Then 3 years later Rachel and Rebecca are twins. No twins are not common in our family and no she was not on any medication. There is one more important person that I want to mention because he was apart of so many of our adventures. That is Larry (Grandpa).

Okay so I think you have a since of what we are about and who we are. From here on out is the important stuff.....the adventures. So keep reading and enjoy!!
