Look out Africa ---- here we come again!

July 2008

South Africa, Africa is our destination this time. One of the outfitters we met at the SCI show was Travis from Bushmen Safaris. He contacted Dad and convinced him this was our next adventure. So once again we planned for a two week stay in Africa. Rachel was married this time. Again adding to the number of our clan. The girls this time were determined to shed blood in Africa too!! There was a total of 10 of us going (A family friend, Jesse, making the 10th person). We got the plane and flew 19 hours to Johannesburg were we met our driver, Sam. Now Sam was a driver like none ever. He could drive extremely fast with the windows all fogged over. After 4 hours we arrived a Bushmen Ranch were we met our new friends; PH Nick, his wife Lydia, their son and PH Shannon, and his wife Mette. Bushmen quickly became our dream home. The house we stayed was gorgeous. The food was amazing and the staff was truly the friendless people. The hunting was quite impressive and successful too. We had so many new and exciting memories that came from this trip. Not to mention friendships that are to last for a lifetime!!
